Colstoun Cookery School Scotland Alison Henderson, freelance forager, recipe developer and cookery school teacher at Colstoun Cookery School recently held a Fish & Seafood course for her students. Colstoun Cookery School Scotland offer a range of day long cookery courses, aimed at students of all abilities who want to learn how to make delicious food. They use only locally sourced ingredients (where possible) from East Lothian and pride themselves on being the greenest cookery school in Scotland. Using renewable heat and LED lighting to composting all of their food waste, they aim to be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible. In their very first year, Colstoun Cookery School won the Scottish Rural Award for Best Start Up and in 2018 we were finalists in the Rural Education category. They've taught thousands of students from many varying levels of expertise, from absolute beginners through to the team of a Michelin Star restaurant.
