COVID-19 update – new restrictions

Hi everyone, Happy New Year! This new lockdown is not how we wanted to start off 2021, hopefully it ends sooner rather than later. Our shop will reopen and deliveries will start again as of Thursday 7th Jan. We are due a delivery from our supplier in Shetland on Wednesday, so a lot of lovely fresh fish will be available! Please help our delivery drivers as much as possible in light of these new restrictions. If you can leave boxes or cool bags at your door, with your order etc. we will limit any potential exposure, which is essential at the moment. All delivery drivers will be wearing masks and will be adhering to the 2 metre distance rule. This is to protect ourselves and our customers. We are offering the option to message your driver with your order, we can leave it at the door for you and you can then pay contactless with your card. The more planning ahead the better for everyone. Stay safe...

Ingredients and the environment are hugely important to us and shape what we do and our ethos: local seasonal sustainable simple - the ingredients are the star of the show, not the wizardry of the chef On 4th August, Dave and Ali hosted ‘Fire & Feast #2’ - a full day, hands on workshop when participants learnt how to cook in the outdoors, deep in The Woods of East Lothian. Backwoodsman skills of building and maintaining fire and wild cheffing skills such as ponassing fish (curing and then hot smoking it over fire) roasting, baking in salt & cooking in an earth oven were all covered. We then kicked back, late afternoon for a magical Woodland Feast around the campfire. The Feast To start, a fire cooked to taste of the sea: Ponassed...
